Getting from the Airport

Getting Here Quickly ___ If traveling on a time constraint, you can reserve a taxi before arriving in Portland. A one-way fare from PDX Airport will cost between $30 and $35. Sit back and enjoy a beautiful 15-20 minute drive through the Rose City!

Getting Here On a Budget___ The convenient Tri-Met MAX Light Rail runs directly from the PDX airport (lower level, near baggage claim), with connections throughout downtown Portland. Take the red line to the Morrison/SW 3rd Avenue station and walk .1 miles east to Hotel Rose. The trip is approximately 45 minutes and a one-way adult fare is only $2.50. The first train of the day arrives at PDX at 4:44 AM on weekdays and 4:45 AM on weekends. The last train departs PDX at 11:49 PM daily. You can view the full schedule here.

Airport Shuttle

If you are traveling with a larger group, Blue Star Bus offers vans, shuttles, and buses to and from the Portland Airport. The entire Blue Star fleet runs on biodiesel and is Portland’s largest locally owned and operated shuttle service. Rates start at $14 one-way, per person and reservations are recommended. We also recommend Bolt Bus, which leaves five times a day between the hours 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM. It departs from the International District, just a few miles south of our Seattle hotels and arrives in Portland, a short .4 mile walk to Hotel Rose.

Amtrak also has daily departures between Seattle's King Street Station and Portland Union Station.
